About Us

BIG SOUTH FORK NATIONAL RIVER AND RECREATION AREA 


Known for premier horseback riding with over 200 miles of trail riding right from the campground.  We are the only campground with direct access to the BSF trails! 

Come Stay with us at Timber Ridge and experience horse camping and riding horse trails on the Big South Fork that offer over looks, creek crossings, rock Bluffs, caves and much much more, with a variety of easy, intermediate and challenging horse trails for all riders to enjoy in the natural beauty of Tennessee from the back of their horse !!! 


We are the new owners, Susan Riggan and Eric Brandt; our adventure with the campground started on 8/30/2019.  We moved here from Wisconsin with my 2 horses (Gibbs & Leroy) and dog (Xena). We are extremely excited to meet all the campers, regulars and those new to Timber Ridge!
